The blood made him snap.
It changed him back to the husband I knew.
It came from the call I tried to make,
The ripping of the phone out of my hands,
As I huddled on the bathroom floor.
Helpless tears came, along with the
Life altering fear that never left my body.
Every drink, no matter if just one;
Brought that same fear back,
Every.single.time.
For six long years.
The names I was called, will never be forgotten.
The moment I thought I might die,
will never be forgotten.
He will never be forgotten.
I've been wanting to write about some experiences I've had over the years ever since I started my English class. We aren't writing, but when I've got something to say, I HAVE to say it.
